Display Impact. F.A.Q.
What is Display Impact?
is NexSignia’s managed digital signage service for qualifying businesses. NexSignia installs and operates a professionally designed digital screen inside your venue.
What does it mean to be a Display Impact Host?
As a host, you provide a visible in‑venue location for the display. NexSignia handles everything else: installation, programming, content scheduling, monitoring, and support.
You are not required to manage content or sell advertising.
Is there really no cost to host?
Yes. For approved locations, Display Impact is offered at no monthly cost. The service is supported by third-party messages that NexSignia manages and governs.
What kind of content appears on the screen?
Each screen runs a blended programming loop that may include:
- Your venue’s custom messages (branding, announcements, offers)
- Real‑time informational content (such as news, weather, traffic, local or contextual updates)
- Curated third‑party advertising
- Community or nonprofit messages (when applicable)
Content is designed to be informational, brand‑safe, and non‑intrusive.
Can third-party be competitors of my business?
No, and not by default. NexSignia follows strict Content Governance Rules, including:
- Direct competitors are not placed on your screen
- Same‑industry advertisers require host approval
- Hosts may define additional reasonable category‑level restrictions
All external content is manually reviewed before approval.
Do I have control over what my audience see?
Yes. While NexSignia manages the programming, hosts:
- Approve same‑industry content when required
- Can request reasonable content restrictions
- Can submit venue‑specific messages to be included in the loop
NexSignia ensures everything remains compliant and on‑brand.
Do I need to create or manage content?
Yes and No. NexSignia designs and operates the programming. You provide content (such as your promotion, announcement and messages), NexSignia will format and schedule it appropriately.
What are my responsibilities as a host?
Host responsibilities are minimal:
- Provide space with reasonable visibility
- Allow installation and operation of the display
- Maintain normal business access to the location
You are not responsible for sales, troubleshooting, or content scheduling.
Is there any revenue opportunity for hosts?
Selected Display Impact hosts may qualify for a Revenue Sharing Program, earning up to 10% of advertising revenue generated by their specific screen, subject to program terms and eligibility.
What if I don’t want third-party content at all?
If you prefer no third‑party messages, NexSignia offers a Paid Managed Digital Signage service with:
- Exclusive use of the screen for your business
- No external content
- Full NexSignia management and support (Pricing and commitment apply.)
What size and orientation are the screens?
Most NexSignia displays are landscape‑oriented, professionally sized for in‑venue viewing. Portrait layouts may be available depending on the location and use case.
How is quality and uptime maintained?
NexSignia monitors displays centrally and provides:
- Uptime monitoring
- Operational management
- Technical support
Hosts do not need in‑house technical resources.
Why choose Display Impact instead of traditional signage?
Display Impact replaces:
- Printed posters
- Static TVs
- DIY signage systems
With a professionally operated, always‑fresh, no‑maintenance solution that enhances your space and improves customer experience.
How do I know if my location qualifies?
Eligibility depends on:
- Visibility and foot traffic
- Venue type and layout
- Geographic and advertiser relevance
NexSignia evaluates each location individually.
